Nail polish remover is extremely toxic to dogs.

i don't know why the other post told u to go ahead and use it

best thing to do is just cut the fur off at that site.........

it happens all the time to my mom's dog a shiz tzu....the dog always walks on her feet after she paints her nails.....

thanks

If it's on his fur, nail polish remover will not hurt him - just don't let him lick it. It's very volatile (which means it evaporates quickly). After you use it to take the nailpolish off his fur, then rinse it with water.

Or you can use scissors and cut it out.

Or you can leave it and his hair will grow out eventually.

But if you are careful and dont' let him lick it (honestly, I don't think he will want to! you can use the nailpolish remover)

Uh, canine are direct descendants from wolves, in case you think of a tender, deadly wolf racing contained in direction of the timber at night, with that's %. and howling on the moon then a pampered little domestic dog with that's CLAWS PAINTED pink?!?!? What the hell? i do no longer understand if that's undesirable for the canine wellness (shall we purely desire no longer) in spite of the undeniable fact that that's defiantly very stupid. No offense on your chum yet that's actual ridiculous...

Dont worry the nail polish remover wont hurt him. You can snip the spot that the nail polish is on. No worrys just use the remover. =)

A small nail scissors to clip off the fur there, or you can try brushing it out.

But if it's very small, it won't be a problem, it's not enough to hurt him.

well when my dog got paint on her, we brushed it out gently after giving her a bath. you could also cut the patch of hair some where it's at or just wait for it to go away eventually.

I think it will just wear off after time. My dog got Sharpie on her white fur and after a week or so it faded.
