Matthew 5:43-44
Jesus Said:
"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you!"
Jesus knowing mankind's innate goodness and full potential would not have asked humanity to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us, unless we definately were able to do so. Jesus taught lovingkindness, compassion, forgiveness, patience/endurance, goodness, fortitude, joy, humility, and peace to humanity.
The teachings of Jesus-especially Matt. 5:43-44,
Matt. 6:14-15 and the Beatitudes which Jesus taught mankind are excellent bible verses one can personally apply in one's life to live not only in peace with oneself, but especially live in peace with humanity.
