so do you guys think that eating
a bown of cereal, with strawberries or bananas for breakfast..
a yogurt tube, or a cheese string for lunch.
and for dinner some vegetables, crackers, or a salad.
would be good to eat everyday for about 1 or 2 weeks?
we`re both 13, around 5'1 (haha little shorties (= lol. and like 95 pounds. and we just want to lose the extra jelly we have.
haha, and everyday we're gonna do 40 jumping jacks in the morning, 20 pushups, and some jogging.
thats all.
nothing big..
so yeah, any tips or advice? thanks!

If you're not eating any meat, make sure you get protein into your diet.

I hate to break this to you hun, but if you stay on a diet like this you wont drop pounds or tone up. You'll actually end up putting on more belly weight. The reason being, if your body is hungry which it would be if you gave it that little to run off of, it will start to store all fat from foods and all sugars. If you want to tone your body, thats totally fine. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look your best. But the most health and effective way to get there is not by eating this little. What you need to be doing is keeping yourself on a low sugar, high fiber diet where you are eating small meals about 5 or 6 times a day. Having cereal in the morning is great, but only if its the right ceral. You can't have something full of sugar. You need to read the box. Bananas are better for you then strawberries as well. Use soy milk or fat free milk instead of regular. Working out about an hour after breakfast is also really great. Go for a 30 minute jog, with ten minutes of stretching before and after. Then have a small lunch and by that, I dont mean have a cheese string. Cheese is actually really high in fat and not going to help you out. A small amount is fine, but you are better off having salad with grilled chicken on it or tuna. Just keep the dressing light. Have a snack between lunch and dinner. This doesn't mean have a bag of chips but eat some carrot sticks with fat free dressing. Then eat a HEALTHY dinner. Not crackers that are full of salt anyway. Eat a piece of chicken or beef thats been grilled not fried and fresh veggies. Change up when you work out as well. Don't always stick to doing the same things. If you do 45 minutes of aerobics one day, go for a run the next. But please do yourself a favor and EAT. Your body is still growing and you will not like how you end up looking if you don't eat enough. Your chest is made up of fat tissue after all, and you need to stick to being healthy and working out for it to actually work, just starving your body for two weeks isn't going to have the right effect. Stay healthy and happy.

The cereal might be fine as long as it's whole grain and free of junk, like extra sugar, especially corn syrup and/or high fructose corn syrup and other fake additives.

The yogurt tube (despite the many other things I think is wrong with yogurt) is probably full of sugar. The cheese string is also very processed and might be high in sodium, as well.

The vegetables are good, especially if their frozen or very fresh. ("Fresh" veggies are often picked miles from the point of sale and very handled. They also loose nutrients if not properly preserved. Frozen veggies are frozen just hours after picking. Canned are also preserved soon after picking, but are often loaded with sodium and preservatives and just don't taste as good to me.)

Lean protein, such as soy, beans or veggie "meat" is needed. Any grains you have should be whole grain (again, without the added stuff like the corn syrup and/or high fructose corn syrup and other preservatives and additives) for the ultimate nutrition.

I hope this helps.

You shouldn't be on a food diet, you are too skinny already. I think what you need is to be more physically active. Rollerblade, walk, jog, run, go swimming, play sports if you like to.

Yeah, I don't think you should cut down what you are eating...just be more physically active.

No, I don't think that's enough calories. Plus with your height and weight you really shouldn't lose any weight at all. You should exercise more to tone your body, not eat less.
