What do you think of Pagans?

Pretty much bright, friendly people who don't have an angry god wanting them to convert or kill everyone.

Paganism (hope that is the right term sorry if it isnt') is the oldest religion or atleast many of our contemporary religions come from it. I do not know a whole lot about paganism but i am incredibly interested in it and plan to educate myself when i feel like searching for my spiritual calling .... all in all pagans are interesting !!

Very vague question. There isn't much to think, if you don't give references. A line can only be drawn between two points. / Even so, once I am supposed to give, for according to the teaching I've received "the one who gives is a happy man", I'll give you the knowledge I have of the history of the word. It's Latin: derived from "pagus, -i", which means village, town, opposed to "castra, -orum", military camp. "Paganus, -a" is someone who lives in a village, and that therefore isn't a soldier. The meaning was related to religion in the Middle Ages, because of the understanding that people who are friend of this world are enemy of the god of Jacob. I believe we all set out on the path we believe is correct. I have no right to judge anyone for that. I have my beliefs, and they have theirs. This is our right. If they are wrong or if I am wrong, we will find out at some point. Or perhaps we are both right and there is no wrong path, except that of doing evil of course. I don't see pagans doing that, at least for the most part. No matter what group of people you look at, there are good, and there are hypocrites. That doesn't mean that what the group believes is wrong.

I think they are sadly misled, although they are "nice" people, nice doesn't get you into heaven. They think that just because they don't believe in heaven or hell, that it simply doesn't exist for them. I think they worship the creation instead of the Creator. I think they hide behind the name "Wiccan" when they are actually witches. They will never admit to that, though. I'm truly not trying to be mean or anything. It is my honest opinion. They live in a fairy tale world, and reject God.
But, it really doesn't matter what my OPINION is. It only matters what God thinks. And according to the Bible--God's Word, they worship other things besides God, and they will not go to heaven.

I think they are some of the coolest and most respectful people I have ever met.
I have not seen but maybe ONE pagan ever attack or criticize another person here, and that guy has not been around for some time.
We can all learn a lesson in respect and peacefulness from pagans.

As a Pagan, I thank everyone for their kind responses. I know Pagans of every ilk. We are just like anyone else, we have our "fundie" types, our brilliant ones, our flakes. All in all, I think we're intelligent people who look for answers in places that some are afraid to go. And every one of us is as unique as hell.

I don't really know much about it, but pagans usually seem to be the nicest and least judgmental people on this forum.
