ok so there is this guy in my science class,(who i know likes me) and every day this week he gave me gum. and im really starting to like him a lot. but then yesterday, we were passing notes (yes i know, its not smart to break the rules and i should play atention to class, but im a straight A student and i think i can handle haveing a BF) he asked me if i had one of his teachers, and i didn't. so i asked him why he asked, he said he needed to know what the homework was. then he asked if i had a phone. and i thought he ment cell phone, which i don't have (nor do i have a home phone) so i said no. my question is, do you think me might have taken that as a rejection? do you think he thinks i don't like him. because i really do like him i was just telling him the truth. what do you think?

well he sound nice, and your right you should pay attention but sometimes we all bend the rules. i think if you explain to him that its just a misunderstanding he might understand. if he really likes you then he will understand. good luck^^

No, he probably took it as you really didn't have a phone. No choice in that, now is there? You did not screw up because you told the truth. But what you should do is tell him when you might be getting a phone and ask if you can be boyfriend and girlfriends at school unless he can also handle you not having a phone be outside bf/gf too.

I think he likes you, but on the other hand he did ask for your homework. It might have been a turnoff if you were saying no so he might have taken that as in I dont want you to call. Just tell him that you dont have a phone. And if you really want to be with him the just tell him what is the worst that could happen

Yes I think he did. He probably thinks you lied about not having a phone. Tell him you were being honest and that you really like him. Tell him had you a phone number to give him. You would have been more than happy to do so. Good luck.

You answered his question and answered it honestly, no one could ask any more than that. Talk to him again, verbally and explain that you do not have a cell or house phone. Surely he will understand that. If he does not understand tell to piss off. But, I don't think that he will be upset with an honest answer, do you?

he probably does but its not a problem. next time you see him just say " that shirt looks cute on you!" and he'll be seeing heart all over again. or ask him if he wants to work on that homework together
