This morning was my first cross country meet is this enough food or not enough it feels like I pigged out but it's like I did'nt
breakfast: 2 cups Rice Chex no milk I didn't want to upset my stomach= 200 calories
they had food their, but it was an apple and I can't bite into them because of my braces so I packed a half cup of cheerios, and I WAS HUNGRY= 50 calories
lunch: i was STARVING, i had a meatball sandiwch at a town thing called Victorian Days, i ate lunch their with my mom and sis because my bread had gone stale and my deli turkey had gone bad so I don't know how many calories, but I ate the whole thing because I was STARVING!
snack: i met up with my friend that I haven't spoken too in a while and we got strawberry banana smoothies I only drank like 1/2 because I just got too full, so that was $4 down the drain don't know how many calories, but it was made with fresh fruit so it was healthy.
dinner: 2.5 oz turkey=120 calories 1/2 brown rice=75 calories

You should eat a good breakfast before you start out. If you have to get up earlier in order to go this than do it. Carry some protein bars with you because some food can go bad, as you experienced. Always drink water and carry it with you. This is more important than food. When you get done, then eat a sensible meal. Don't worry about calories before you exercise, because you will wear them off quickly and you need those calories to sustain you through the day. When you get that hungry it is hard to continue,because your body is crying for food.
