A lot of people eat 1500 calories to LOSE weight.

Then again, I don't know how much you weigh or how tall you are. Your caloric needs might be different. The amount of calories needed to maintain weight are usually in the 1900-2000 range. Try a calorie calculator to see how much you need to maintain weight.

A female to function correctly need at least 2000 calories per day. It's not the calorie in take you have to worry about because if you eat 2000 calories every day your metabolism will burn 2000 calories. If you go on an 800-1000 calorie diet and then return to a 2000 calorie diet you will gain 1000 calories to your body which about half a pound. The thing you have to worry about is not how many calories you eat but what you eat. Eating 2000 calories of junk food is not the same of eating 2000 calories of eating fruits, vegatables, grains, or nuts. Also 5'4 and 130 lbs is the ideal weight for that height

I would vary the nuts with other types of grains. You can get them at farmers markets or herb stores. Nothing with extra salts or sugars though, also drink organic fruit juices and 6 to 8 bottles of pure water every day to flush your system of bad toxins. Have a great life!!!

a diet based on nuts is not a good solution for long term health. the body needs a balanced nutritional intake in order for it to function properly.

nuts have a lot of caffiene so just be careful of that I'd say. also they can have a lot of fat.

have you thought of eating things like lentils? black-eyed peas? they have a lot of good stuff and minimal calories. . . and eaten with rice they make a complete protein. . .
