Hi
First of all you have to STOP feeding your kittern dry foods. The lack of water in the food as well as the high carbs is where the problems lie. You need to switch to canned foods w/o gravy.
You can add a bit of mineral oil to the food to help things along. If that doesn't work, for a grown cat I recommend 1/4 tab of a senekot 1x a day for 2 days. Being how youn yourt cat is, I wouldn't give more then a tiny pies, ie less then 1/8 of a tab. More on nutrtion

Nutrition since there are so many bad things out there is very important to your cat’s health
Contrary to what you may have heard, dry foods are not a great thing to feed a cat.
Dry foods are the number 1 cause of diabetes in cats as well as being a huge contributing factor to kidney disease, obesity, crystals, u.t.i’s and a host of other problems. The problems with it are that they are loaded with carbohydrates which many cats (carnivores) cannot process. Most of the moisture a cat needs is gotten
out of the food and 95% of it is zapped out of dry foods in the processing. Also, most use horrible ingredients and don't use a muscle meat as the primary ingredient and use vegetable based protein versus animal. Not good for an animal that has to eat meat to survive.
You want to pick a canned food w/o gravy (gravy=carbs) that uses a muscle meat as the first ingredient and doesn't have corn at least in the first 3 ingredients if at all. Fancy feast is a middle grade food with 9lives, friskies whiskas lower grade canned and wellness and merrick upper grade human quality foods. Also, dry food is not proven to be better for teeth. Please read about cat nutrition.

It could be a hairball, or something else your kitten likes to eat that it shouldn't. It could also be a diet that's too low in fibre, or possibly feline distemper (which he should have been vaccinated against)

You NEED to take it to the vets. If you can't afford to, you should never have gotten a kitten. Insurance isn't expensive.

The only other thing you can do is feed him oily fish, like tuna or herring, or milk. It sounds too late for that now, though, and quite serious. Please, please take him to a vet.

Edit: I'm not being rude, I'm concerned about your kitten. The fact remains, you should definately take it the a vet.

You need to call the vet. This can kill the kitten. But, the best fiber source, and cats will eat it, is canned pumpkin. Vets use it all the time.

Lol that sounds like what happened to me when I was forced to live off restaurant food for a few days in Canada (ebil hotel rooms had nothing to make food with). Sorry, I can't help much. The moment I started eating normal food again I was fine though. :P

CALLING the vet is free, they can often give you some at home suggestions to try.

The cat has to poop, everyone knows that, so you do need to do something that won't be hurting him. Give the vet a call.

Sorry but this problem can only be fixed by a vet. Ask someone for money.

I don't know about animals but if humans lack fiber they can sometimes get constipated. Try giving it more fiber.

Some pet shops (not all) do sell something to help with this problem. Ask at your local pet shop!
