Drink at least eight 8 oz. glasses of pure water each day. Water hydrates, flushes toxins, relieves puffiness and increases radiance.
Eat sufficient protein so that the skin can repair itself. Protein deficiency brings on sagging and premature aging.
Include fish in your diet. Essential fatty acids keep skin soft and supple.
Limit simple carbohydrates. Refined sugar and flour cause premature aging.
Load up on brightly colored vegetables. Vitamins A and C enhance skin strength and metabolism, reduce inflammation and protect DNA.
Exercise to increase your blood flow, which brings more nutrients to your skin. However, don't forget to wash your body and face afterwards to keep it healthy.
Look for products that are soap, alcohol and fragrance free for the face as these will damage skin and clog pores.
Eat a diet high in fiber, including whole grains and fresh vegetables and fruits, to keep your body healthy overall and provide nutrients to your skin. Stay away from junk food, caffeine and salty foods.
Determine whether specific foods aggravate your skin and eliminate them from your diet.
Consider adding zinc supplements to your diet.

I can see that you have already developed some scarring. This occurs from popping and picking at the pimples, something you should NEVER do! This will be the hardest to get rid of because you will have to see a dermatologist.
However, for the pimples, try to stay away from greasy foods, not really because of what goes inside (although not healthy anyway!) but mainly because you will touch this, and then touch your face, and put more oil into your complexion.
You want to touch your face as minimally as possible, and wash your hands very well before you do. Try washing your face 2-3 times a day with a mild cleanser, such as a neutrogena fash wash, and use a CLEAN washcloth each day. Otherwise, you will simply be spreading the bacteria back on your face the next day.
Use a good astringent 1-2 times a day, less if your face begins to get too dry.
And find a good oil-free moisterizer made for acne, such as Clearasol, once in the morning and once at night.
If you follow a good schedule religiously, you should start to see major results in a few weeks.
As for smooth skin, you will have to see the dermatologist, who will give you peels, maybe microdermabrasion, to get rid of the scarring on your face. Don't expect for everything to go away easily, it will take a lot of hard work and patience.
I wish you the best of luck!

Use good quality moisturizer and toner (and wash too!), try Kiehl's , they are the best!! Wash, tone and moisturize in the morning and at night. And for occasional break outs use 10% benzoyl peroxide gel (like Zapzyt, clean&clear, neutrogena, etc). Also, don't forget to take your vitamins, like vitamin E, or the ones that say they're for skin, hair and nails, they are wonderful. Use exfoliating every few days, i love St. Ives Apricot Scrub, smells soo good!!! And also apply facial masks once a week. Going to a dermatologist is nice too, but lots of people don't have time though : ( Oh, and eat healthy. Good Luck!!!

everybody says it, but 8 glasses of water a day.
fresh air.
garnier pure a intensive night gel and the moisturiser is good.
or, a few drops of pure tea tree oil in your ordinary moisturiser.
blueberry, pomegrantes, dairy products.
avoid any processed food.
a good plain moisturiser is e45, its plain and simple but stops dry skin. Not glamourous but it works.
Benzyl Benzoate - this is used for curing scabies (ew) and crabs (double ew!) but after using it to cure my horses skin infection I bought some more and tried it, and it worked wonderfully on any problem blemishes.
Chemists stock it, i get it from a pharmacist friend direct, so I'm not sure whether its a prescription drug or not.
I would strongly advise against the toothpaste 'miracle cure' as it just turns blemishes into a crusty dry mess.
look for products with zinc and salicylic (sp?) acid.
this reduced redness and has antibacterial properties.
hope this helps :)

Don't drink dairy milk!!! Milk is shown to cause dead skin buildup. Instead, get your calcium from soymilk, and take a daily vitamin. Twice a week, us Queen Helene's Mint Julep mask, because it dries up pimples and shrinks large pores.

Try applying vitamin E oil on your skin. My colleague had the same problem like yours and she was advised by her doctor to apply vitamin E. She was prescribed Natopherol Vitamin E to be applied direct to her face. It cleared her acne after using it for 2 weeks. Maybe you can try this. Good luck
