every morning I like to take a bottle of water to school. But I was thinking that if I drank a vitamin water, since it has calories so my metabolism would start up earlier, that it would be better. What do u think?

Obviously breakfast is important. Vitamin water has little or no calories. It simply has chemicals (vitamins) that are necessary for your body to function properly and more efficiently. Even a lo-fat breakfast bar or piece of toast is better as it has carbohydrates (not a bad word !) that gives you energy. Carbs are your body's main source of energy. Grapefruit juice has been shown to promote fat metabolism, and has some light carbs as well. Bottom line is the vitamin water shouldn't hurt you in moderate quantities (remember Vitamin A and D are fat-soluble, meaning they are stored in your body's fat instead of being eliminated in your urine, so you can get too high levels-not usually a problem, though), but a light breakfast is the best thing you can do.

Do you eat breakfast or just the water?

Skipping breakfast will slow metabolism. If the calories in the vitamin water are from sugar, drinking it is a bad idea. It would be better for your metabolism and your health to eat about 300 calories at breakfast, including carbs, protein, dairy and some fruit. Like peanut butter on toast with orange juice and yoghurt or cereal and milk with banana.

Its not necessary to take vitamins if you are having a balanced diet but please do not avoid breakfast I would rather say its compulsory,Do you know that a healthy produces its own vitamins.
