You should not allow over breeding at all. 2 times is more than enough to produce a litter. More than that and some of the pups may be born prematurely.
She will continue her heat cycle after breeding. It doesnt stop if she she becomes pregnant. I will end after her heat cycle is over. You really should have her spayed if you dont know this. It is basic for dog breeding. You will need to read and educate your self.

no it will not affect the number of pups, and she will bleed until she is out of season,you need to have a good whelping box handy and I hope you know how to deliver puppies, have you done this before? or are you just a backyard breeder hoping to get rich at the poor dogs expence. you need to read on breeding and how to care for the pups, if you dont and are unprepared the you will likly lose all the babies,good luck and God Bless

A dog in heat stays in heat by letting the male breed as much as possible doesn't detern-mine the number of pups the female determines by the number of eggs released.
You can however prolong the labor as having her bred many days so g ahead and igve it good to your poor female.

no to the bleading and yes to number of hookup to number of puppies but just once does not mean one pup If a female has more than one hookup the puppies could have different fathers

she shouldnt get her period while she is pregnant. she should be fine, if not... you should get it checked out by someone.
