best to go for pioneer or panasonic, both are equally good, but depends on your wallet size.

There isn't a good 50" plasma. Go for LCD. More reliable. In the business.

i have the sony bravia but thats in thailand and was well surprised to see it selling for twice the price in the uk but its a great TV

yes,LCD use much less energy than plasma.
