i've had obsessive compulsive disorder for awhile now, couple years or so. and the kind i have makes me worry about bad things. i.e. a family member or loved one dying. but now i'm having feelings that my boyfriend is cheating on me. is it just my ocd? or is it really a gut feeling? i can't tell if i should be worrying about it or not. more of me thinks it is a gut feeling but i just dont know. because he has lied to me in the past, and cheated on me in the past too and so i just don't know what to think. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Normally I would say go with your gut feeling...you going back with him after he's lied and cheated on you...you will Always have your doubts...gut feelings/bad feelings when it comes to him. Once the trust is broken in a relationship, it's alot of hard work and total commitment to get through...sounds like you need to re-evaluate your relationship. Perhaps when he's out of the picture , you won't have to question if it's your ocd or your gut feeling*

the indisputable fact which you're feeling like that via way he behaves is a huge crimson flag. the indisputable fact which you're asking in case you could bypass away him and give up dropping some time potential which you will. do no longer over-examine issues, you have a particular way of understanding that he's not the only for you, so flow on- life's short. good success!

great boyfriend. if there are no clues and you just think this it is your ocd cause it needs someting to feed it and why not worry about your boyriend. there are no such thing as a gut feeling. you only have gut feelings if there are little signs you pick up on. if your just thinking and this idea pops into ur head and you can get over it then its ur ocd. trust me i have ocd.

you need to dump him! or atleast try talking with him, and this sounds absolutely awful but try taking his phone and reading his txt or looking at his calls. it might help reassure you either way. i have ocd also!

and how are we supposed to know if your boyfriend is cheating on you?

PS, why the hell are you with someone that's cheated on you before? if he is cheating on you, it's your own fault for being dumb enough to trust him again.
