i have eczema on my arms, i used cortisone cream to clear most if up, but now where the worst patches used to be there are these white patches of skin, that stay white and don't tan, no matter how much of the rest of my skin does. i heard that it's because eczema infected skin has no pigment in it so it can't tan, does anyone know of any way i can clear these white marks up,tho???

Honestly, I have no idea, but I would suggest that colored tanning lotion, not the one that wouold turn you orange, just a nice bronze... I guess.. I have a guestion for you though, what does eczema look like? I think my 6 month old son may have it.(Go to my page and send me a message if you can.) Thanks :) ****YaddaGurl

the white patches will sooner or later be eczema again. use vasiline or petroleum jelly(found on the baby isle in places like winn-dixie or publix). it will mosturize it and all that kinda stuff. don't let ur skin get to dry right in that area expecially or it will itch, then you will itch it, and it will turn red then eventually it will scab up.

Well, that's just not so, the skin is just scared. I have it, my daughter and my son, we all control it with cremes of one sort of the other. My daughter is lucky, she gets Zoloft shots once a month but, when I say "lucky" she has insurance that covers them, they cost 2,000.00 a shot, per month.
Find a good allergist and see what he has to say.
