It's okay to feel frustrated with High School when you are a freshman. It is the first step in many others that lead you to the door of independence. Take it as an opportunity and not a challenge. Develop strategies to find and make it to all of your classes, maybe get a school map and plot it out. Talk to the principal or home room teacher about the locker issue.

It will get better....!

Highschool can be scary for everyone as it is all New..
New school, much bigger, knowing where your locker is, what your combination is., where to eat lunch...etc*

I'm glad you met 2 friends but you're still not happy?? I would say this is Normal. Also , homework in highschool, they really get down to business, as you're planning for your future. Working in the real world, isn't easy either and highschool prepares you for the deadlines ..when somethings due....they expect it when its due not a week later when y ou feel like getting around to it.

You've just started at highschool, give it a chance and give yourself a chance. Eventually you'll meet more ppl, and hang out with more ppl........Takes time*
Involve yourself in a sport or music class after school, something you enjoy doing, you'll meet more ppl that share the same interests as you*

Give it time* (the school and yourself)
goodluck*
Try not to fret over it~ You'll be ok* just start getting involved with things at school to interact with more ppl*

High school can be very confusing when you 1st get there. Give it sometime and it will all fall in place for you. A few years down the road remeber how you felt and try to help another freshmen out when you see they seem to be overwhelmed also.

Keep your chin up, it is a scary thing overcoming it will make you a better person in the future.

Just think: Four years will pass indefintely, because time can't stop. Since that is so, there will come a day when you will graduate and you won't ever have to set foot in a highschool again.

It may seem like forever, but it WILL happen someday and you'll never have to worry about this again. Keep that thought tucked away in your mind and you'll be a-okay. ^_^

no ur not crazy, highschool can be soo stressing sometimes, just try and do ur best, and don't worry so much...
also remember that even though people say that highschool is suppsoed to be the best time of ur life, it's not, it's sometimes the most difficult time, many people feel the way u do, remember that after it's over it's easier, ur not forced to do all this work and u can be your own person. just hang in there....

Its just stress - you are at a new school, you don't know where you belong, or how things work, so you have a loss of confidence. You should realize everyone else is probably feeling the same way. And don't blame yourself for your locker, just go down to the school office and demand they fix it.

You will fee better soon!

Eh, its normal. Dont worry about it. When I was a freshman I felt the same way. But, after a week or so things will get better. You'll get used to everything. Trust me.

Look, it is a part of the growing up and maturing aspect of life.. probably you are used to being protected somewhat.. you will have to get over it.. and to make it easier for you.. remember, probably about 80 percent of the other students are going through some of the same stuff you are.. go see you counselor.. that is what they are there for.. they will not come to you unless you get into trouble.. so you must go to them and tell them what is troubling you.. they are there to assist you and ease your transition.. you can trust them.. and their advice.. good luck

wow that sounds a lot like my first few days of high school... of course its scary to be there, I mean there are more people, people seem to be a lot older, a new school usually bigger, forgetting locker combos and even forgeting where your locker is..... but enjoy it because pretty soon you will look back and laugh at it and compare stories about it with all your new friends.... trust me it will get better.. and high school is honestly the best years of your life enjoy it!!!
