I am a "crazy" person as I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia over 40 years ago and am still an outpatient on anti-psychotic medications. One of the previous answerer's stated that she hated the use of the term "crazy" and although I'm used to it I don't like it for the same reason blacks don't like the term "ni**er". It sets you apart from other humans as unacceptable.People taunted by this term internalize the insult and it effects their recovery adversely

I am a happy old man, a grandfather three times over and my 4 children are all "successful" in the full modern meaning of the term. I have been able to lead a fairly normal life due to the TLC of the medical community and med's. I worked about 15 of the years of my illness and also was able to attend two universities for advanced work. I no longer seem to hallucinate.

If you want to know more about my opinions and life feel free to read my profile, answers to questions on here and questions I have asked. I have nothing to hide. Also feel free to e-mail me.

Good luck, good health, peace and love!
