I kind of told well emailed (immature I know) this guy that I had feelings for him... he wrote back say this:
"the way we connect with people we find that we have something in common with, can admire qualities about, etc. goes both ways."
Now... I know he is beating around the bush but.. what does that mean... that he doesnt like me like I admire him? the man is so freaking vague.

I have no idea what he means by that. I am planning on telling a guy that i like him through an email but im nervous. I have no idea how he is going to react

i think he is letting you off easily. On one hand he is sending you the message that your feeling aren't amorous, but come from similitude, and on the other hand he expresses his liking of you - in a friendly manner -.

Best way to find out what the hell he is trying to state to you in his response is to ask him point blank.
