Have tried it and the no bake cheesecake is not a bad recipe, although if you need to wait 2 hours for it to set you might as well throw a tbsp of vanilla in the cream cheese along with a few eggs and bake it at 350 in the oven for about an hour and a half, you'll have a real but simple cheesecake done just as easily.

My mom has made this recipe for as long as I can remember. (I'm 37) I was about 11 years old the first time I had real baked cheese cake, and I was very confused because it didn't look or taste like my mom's "cheese cake". I will mention that my mom adds about 1- 2 tsp of lemon juice and vanilla extract to taste. She usually tops it with canned cherry pie topping. Enjoy

Yes, it's called a no bake cheese cake. It's OK, but doesn't compare with the real thing, but a good starter idea.

It is simple and tasty - my daughter made this at a party and brought some home (what a clever idea for a sleepover).
