They're composed mostly of sugar, which dissolves in water/liquid. But there is also guar gum and other ingredients which probably will not dissolve. Hopefully it will pass on it's own, but depending on how far it was inserted and how many, there is a possibility that it could get lodged and caused a blockage, requiring surgery to remove.

This is a joke - unless she's referring to "soap skittles" (another term for soap suppositories) in which case - yes they dissolve, that's how they work.

There are several factors that could effect this. Yes they could dissolve, but please watch your bowel movements. If you notice blood or a black looking stool contact your doctor and in the future eat the skittles. Putting anything up your rear end can be dangerous.

Don't worry, skittles will begin to dissolve when exposed to your body heat, just as they will begin to melt when held excessively in the hands. But if they don't in your case, this too will come to pass!!

The plastic ones will not but the wooden ones probably will rot away in fifteen or twenty years.It may be a good idea to make your way to the local hospital.Out patients department.
