My stomach can sometimes become real irrated after drinking. Suppose I am going to have 5 or 6 beers over all night and how can I prevent my stomach to hurt so bad...will food or anything work to make it so the alcohol won't irrate it and give me a bad feeling?

If you have a problem with yeast or wheat, I would avoid beer. It should be less irritating than cider and coolers, which I avoid, along with red wine. I prefer white wine, beer, blush wine, champagne and very occasionally, something like blueberry tea, a brown cow or some schnapps on the rocks.

Do not eat anything with the beer but have a slice or two of plain whole grain bread after. Do not eat any dairy or sugary products. For a hangover, I suggest a plate of fried eggs, buttered brown toast, some fried chicken and coffee in the morning. Completely goes against most of my dietary principles but is great for alleviating a hangover. Also, some Alka-Seltzer Plus. For flus and nights of insomnia, take a Contac-C. Avoid Tylenol, Aspirin and grapefruit juice while using it.

Eat first -preferably nice starchy foods like pizza, a hoagie, sandwich or pasta, then be sure to drink loads of water (add lemon slices to make it taste better) at least 8oz for every 16 in beer and that should do the trick. If you are still queasy in the a.m. have an Alka-Seltzer it will fix you right up. Good Luck!

The best thing is to eat at the beginning of the night. Make sure you eat plenty of bread...it will help with the absorption of the alcohol....drinking on an empty or near empty stomach will upset your body every time. Also drink a lot of water before going to bed....it will help flush the booze through your system quicker.

eat something before, drink milk, and have some tomato juice or a V-8 after. A V-8 will help neutralize alcohol.

You need to eat something while your drinking....not anything spicy...eat like a hot dog or hamburger..make sure with the bun, because that will absorb the alcohol and keep your stomach from being all messed up.....as you eat....chase it with your beer.....trust me.....I am the same way
