You should call your vet and ask them if they take credit cards and what kinds. Most businesses these days do, but if it's a small practice in the middle of no-where, they may not.

Yes most take debit/credit cards. In this society, too many people rely on plastic instead of paper bills.

Yes, in fact I have had some very high vet bills recently due to an ill cat and had to put it on my credit card.
