If you have between eight hundred to several hundred dollars, go for it. It is a fine instrument and should last you a lifetime with the proper care. If you can't quite swing the Gibson yet however, check out the Epiphone Les Paul. It isn't quite the same, but it will serve you well for many hundreds of dollars less. Be sure to get the thing in your hands and play it before you take it home. Production line guitars are not quite as rigorously assembled or tested and there are differences in quality from guitar to guitar. By the way, Epiphone was purchased by Gibson and the company has a fine history of it's own. Hope this helps.

There are many models of Les Paul Gibsons ranging from a few hundred for Asian built modles to over a quarter million for a few of the vintage axes. Ther is also solid body and hollow body models so asking "How much is a Les Paul?" is kind of like asking "How much is a car?" Get the model and year and do some online research before you buy. good lock. peace

Well Gibson Les Pauls are suberb guitars, but how much it costs depends on its age, if its a custom job, so many variables. If you could include more information about it we could better say what its worth.
