It is my understanding that during Biblical times, there was no limit to the number of wives a man could have.

Polygamy is not a pillar of faith in Islam. Neither is it mandatory for a man to have more than one wife. Monogamy is the rule; polygamy, a very strict exception with very strict rules.

In Islam Muhammed is.

I can say the Biblical prophets were sinning by having multiple wives.

Will you say the same about MUhammed?
