P.S. You are NOT selfish for wanting to keep your cats... but I am curious how you two got married without knowing this! If he's that allergic even breathing the cat dander off your clothes would bother him.

If I were your husband the only shots would be from a rifle aimed at the cats. He made a mistake he will regret when he married you.

A lot of times, all he needs is some time. I'm very allergic to cats, but over time i've adapted to my boyfriends cats. He has two, and I'm fine at his place. Its terrible at any other place but my body has gotten used to those cats.

Maybe Claratin. But wouldn't it be a better idea to just get rid of the cats rather than make your husband suffer? That doesn't seem fair.

Siamese cats don't give mush of an allergic reactoin. Its when cat clean themselves theres somethning ins the spit that gives opeople allergic reactoins

I think there's a special shampoo you can bathe your cats with that cuts down on the dander, which should help your husband. Talk to your vet about it.

What are your cats doing in the house, on the furniture, etc???
Are THEY living in a house?
Or are YOU living in a BARN???

Your doctor could refer your husband to an allergy specialist.
Personally, I can't imagine considering marriage to someone who was allergic to cats.
