It could be plantar fasciitis (an inflamation of the fascia on the bottom of the foot).
You need HI-RICE:
Hydration -- drink a lot
Ibuprofen -- for pain
Rest -- get horizontal
Ice -- put ice cubes in a ziplock; wrap ziplock in towel
Compression -- wrap an ACE bandage around the area
Elevation -- put pillows under leg until it's higher than heart
Then see a doctor.
What wer you doing when this occured--running, jumping or some other activity that you're not used to?

it's not that they are bad, you prob have fallen arches. Had same thing once, comes from wearing bad shoes. You only need to wear arch supports for a couple of weeks and buy a really good expensive pair of shoes that you would be wearing mostly every day. Problem solved.

try going to neovita and getting arch supports. If your arches hurt, they have probably already gone bad.

It can. Let an Orthopedic, preferably a surgeon in the same field, look it over. I'm recommending an Orthopedic Surgeon because, should you need this service done in the future, you'll have someone. You won't have to look for someone else, hopefully. Good luck to you!
