well first of all i dont suggest making out with a guy once in a while just to be stupid unless you are actually in SOME kind of relationship... anyways, maybe you should tell him that you are slobbering, perhaps he doesnt realize it, and im sure he'll make his kisses more dry once you tell him..

lol. just casualy giggle and say something to him about it. Do it in a good way and tell him that he should work on not slobbering so much during a makeout session. but be sure to tell him that you like making out with him so he doesnt automatically go into a panic and think hes a bad kisser. if you giggle and play it off.. he'll probably fix it and ya'll will still get along fine.
