Side effects are making me feel worse than I did before.I am on 20 mg a day.How long did anyone have side effects ?

I know this probably won't help much, but I am on 30 mg a day and don't have any side affects, if they are really bothersome, I'd tell your prescriber about them, maybe they can put you on something different. Best of luck.

I was on citalopram last time i had depression and found that i had headaches and sickness feelings for the first 2 months of taking them, but this time (i have depression) i have been put on sertraline and found that i haven't had any side effects with these if the side effects are that bad i would see the doctor again and they might put you on a different one
