Are there any noise makers, like bells, to put on a dog's collar?

The other day I was walking my dog in the woods and she darted off. I yelled for her and normally she comes right back. She didn't and as I grew frantic, I remembered she didn't have on a collar. Even if she had, I still wouldn't have been able to hear where she might be because there is nothing on there to alert me to her location. So, does anyone know of a bell or some kind of device that may help me keep up with the location of my dog, possibly by sound?

I did find my dog but I was trying to find something other than a tiny bell to put on her. I can only find bells like for cats collars.

I have bought dog bells or hiker's bear bells that attached with a good velcro strip) from this company, I used to be able to go to their shop in Squamish BC ( my old hometown ) Their products are well made, durable and have beautiful designs available. I still use their collars and leashs, which can come in sets if ya like with matching patterns.

I used to hike the trails around Squamish with dogs and it's bear country, a bell was useful.....unlikely the dogs would startle a bear.

Additionally, if my dogs had taken WAY off I would pick up a stout stick and rhymically beat a tree trunk with it........LOL......they could hear THAT and come back. Sometimes it took awhile as they had crossed the river chasing stuff.........but they always came back.

so did you find your dog or is she still lost?
yes thy make bells you can put on the color. my cousin has a very little dog and they kept steppin on it so they put a bell on its collar so they'd no to be careful. so just tie a bell around her collar. or put a leash on her when your in the woods, and she wont run off. :o) good luck!
oh and you'd want a bigger bell for a bigger dog.

Yes there are bells or you can go to the craft store and buy bells

You've answered your own question! Just get a bell, and using a keyring you can attach it to her collar.
