I love that cat, I bought her from an old lady 2 years ago, and the cat runs when she sees a human.

My cat is a resuce cat and is completely psychotic. I think that she's depressed too. She hisses at everyone and attacks you if she's in a bad mood. Sometimes she's okay and other times she's crazy. I feel sorry for her because I know she has a lot of love in her, but I can't seem to get through to her.

Most vets sell anti-stress hormone sprays and medication can be given if it's extreme. I can't get meds into my cat, so I'm stuck with the problem.

I agree with Gloria, every cat, even ferals and fearful cats, can benefit from hearing and seeing you more. The more they know of your routine, the more you'll be trusted. It usually comes down to a trust issue. The cat isn't at ease around you because you can be seen as a threat yet.

Talk to her. Call her when you put food down. Spend a little time on the floor at her level, doing whatever you want, not necessarily interacting (try exercise or reading a book there). Cats like routine and not a lot of loud screaming TV.

Your only issue is that she runs when she sees a human? That's not that big of a deal. And honestly.. If you've had her for 2 years and she STILL isn't used to you, you're not spending enough time around her.

She sounds feral, like she had been raised on the streets as a kitten. You can slowly gain their trust though, but it can be hard. Just take it slow, never force her to be held, and little by little get closer to her. After a while she will hang out with you more, and will eventually let you pet her, and at some point even hold her. But if you grab her, you mess up the process., Good luck!!
