happens to me regularly in public when I walk by a girl. She will look at me briefly, look away and touch her hair as she passes. is this positive female body language?

yeah usually when girls do that they are shy and they try to play it off by touching their hair or doing something else. if you're "locking" eyes. You're already in there, just say hi. Now because you're in public it's pretty fast pace so you gotta react fast. My best advice for you would to always be prepared, to talk to someone where ever you go, that way you're not caught off guard. Next time chick does this to you, she'll be taken by the way you just talked to her, she'll think you're confident and she'll think that you talk to people everywhere and when she thinks that she'll think you must be a cool guy. CONFIDENCE goes a long way. Just for practice just start saying hi to people everywhere you go, so the next time you see a girl locking eyes with you, saying hi and starting a conversation would be second nature

It means they're uncomfortable - unfortunetly you can't tell if it's because they're embarrassed for staring at you cuz you're so hot or they're wierded out by some guy staring at them. The only way to tell is immediately turn and follow her at a distance one or two paces behind! If she speeds up her pace a lot, it obviously means you're making her heart race!

I'd say that the hair thing would be some sort of shield from looking at you because she feels uncomfortable.

haha yea it probably means she thinks ur cute or someway cuz ur looking at her and u make her nervous. so she looks away, but it's a give away when she touches her hair!
