Working out the morning isn't better than working out at night. It doesn't matter when you work out, as long as you do work out.
It's a total myth that working out in the morning is better. Most people prefer to work out in the morning because they're able to get itheir daily exercising out of the way.
One positive thing about working out in the morning, however, is that when you are doing cardio, your body goes straight to burning fat (rather than carbs).

Before I answer your question, let me caution you regarding working out at night: It's not good to work out at night--your body stays "reved up" for several minutes and sometimes hours, depending on how extensive your workout was. It can be hard to fall asleep, and this can result in sleep deprivation.
To answer your question: Muscles are generally more fexible. Be sure to stretch a little before beginning to exercise, no matter the time of day. It will avoid possible cramping and straining of muscles that might not be used to "the change" put on them when you found them. Also, never eat before a workout UNLESS it's at least 2 hours plus BEFOREHAND. Getting into exercising immediately after eating can cause muscle cramping and vomiting. A guy I had heard of by name from high school back in the 70's, I'm not sure if we met, went swimming immediately after eating. He cramped, paniced in the water, some football guys went in to save him, and they were almost drowned with him because he fought so hard. They couldn't save him ( true story).

Studies shown that working out early throughout the day will actually help you sleep earlier during the night. Hope this helps.

It's probably very good to work out during mourning periods... it takes your mind off the issue at hand...

Because it wakes you up; because if you do it first thing, you're more likely to actually do it instead of getting tired during the day and not wanting to work out; because working out too late in the day can mess up your sleep.

mourning is grieving the death of someone you love, you might consider spell check.
working out in the morning revs up your metabolism for the entire day. working out at night prevents total rest and healing when you sleep.

Because, You Wont Have Eaten As Much, So You Will Be Burning Fat Rather Than The Food You Have Eaten.

I would say it's better to work out AFTER you've gone through the grieving period...
