Sometimes when we swallow something, it can have several effects:
you could have scratched your throat trying to get it out and now it feels like it is still there
you could have it, if it is a string or hair, attached to something else in your throat by it encircling it like that pallet that hangs down or an enlarged taste bud on the back of the tongue
In that case, eating a large piece of dry bread that has nothing on it and swallowing it as large as you dare without it getting stuck in your throat is a good way to help send the hair down the passageway with the bread.
If that doesn't help, then a visit to the family doctor will check out to see if you have something stuck for sure or just a scratch that can also feel like something is in there.
Good luck.

Are you licking the cat again? You really should stop. They will clean themselves on their terms.
:-) Just playing with you!
Drink a liquid to get that tickle feeling out of your throat. I don't know about you, but that would drive me crazy.

drink icy cold water.
take 5 thin sips at a time.
if the hair is still in after 10 sips,
take deep swallows and hold your breath for 3 seconds.
i had my doggies hair stuck in my throat and after doing this the hair had gone.
if it still remains then call someone you know that can help.
and dont be an idiot and let cats sleep on your bed. thats just ASKING for trouble..

You'll swallow much worse than that. Eat some bread and it'll go down through the digestive system and out that way. Unless you're willing to upchuck, it's not really that much of a bother letting it go through normally.

try coughing it out often and drink lots of water and stuff.you should eat well-done rice to make the hair stick, and go down although it's never good to make cat hair go down, you can't really get it out easily.

stop being silly, just in case you're serious then if you feel a hair in your throat then gargle with salt water or drink water, whatever makes you feel better.
