I have Windows XP home edition, and I downloaded a screensaver that appears as ".scr" file (it's saved on my desktop). When I double-click it, it executes, but I don't know how to make it my default screensaver. How do i?

just throw it in the system32 folder then go to screensavers and set it ..

Open the MY COMPUTER icon. Open the C drive. Open the Windows folder. Drag the .scr file from the desktop to the System32 folder.

Right click on the desktop (away from the icons). A menu will appear. Choose PROPERTIES. Click the tab marked SCREENSAVER. Choose your screen saver from the list. Click APPLY.

take your ".scr" file and copy it into c:\windows\system32. When u're done right click on your desktop an go to properties. Then choose the screensaver tab ... now you should find your screensaver in the scroll list, after that just select it and click apply and u're done.

Try going through the properties.. Right click on the desktop, select properties.. then the screen saver tab if it's installed properly (and it has this function) it should be on the drop-list. Select if from there.

you're able to choose to place in residing house windows XP on a try gadget or in a digital gadget to be waiting to repeat those. they do no longer look to be allowed to be shared on line as they are copyrighted.

presss start controal panel apperance and themes change desktop background and then press browse and then look in the file that it is in
