The Geo Prism is a rebadged Toyota that sold through Chevy dealers as a joint venture. It's basically a Toyota Corolla and they are very good little cars...geat on gas and pretty reliable, cheap to fix. I recommend them all the time. Some years were better than others but no major problems that I know of.

Yes, it has always been a Toyota Corolla with a Geo or Chevy badge on it. They are very good, reliable cars.

The Geo was simply a GM branded Suzuki. There is a book that compares all makes of cars based on service costs, fuel economy and value retention. I'm not sure if it is called "Lemon Aid" or not but a library will probably be able to help you find it.

The WHOLE car is a Toyota, so if cared for, it will last forever.
Remember, Toyotas need regular service too.

NO!! It has the worst reliability, won't last a year, has to be constanly repaired.
