the dog will get really fat an lie down a lot. Dont plan on her excersizing too much. if you get these signs, take her to the vet right away to test and make sure before you do any major preparations for a litter of puppies. Next time, be more careful! Take advice from someone who has been there done that.

Was she in heat while you were gone?? Honestly.. Murphy's law says ' If she is a Husky, and she got with a boxer.. she is very definately pregnant '
You might not even see much til she is approx 5 weeks pregnant.. Then one day you'll look and KNOW that she is. The vet is the best one to tell you for sure one way or another.. It's best to know so you can make your decision as to what you are going to do.. Or you can start treating her like she is and making sure she gets proper nutrition, good exercise etc.
Sorry :(

Well, now that you're having some 'ugly puppies' you're going to have to wait a whole year to breed her again- it isn't healthy if you do it earlier. Why not take this oppurtunity to determine why you think this dog should be bred? Go to some local dog shows and talk with the husky exhibitors and see if your dog measures up to theirs. Find out what kind of tests and guarantees they give and find out how expensive it is for them to ensure healthy, quality puppies. If your dog is of championship caliber, then join a breed club and start proving it by showing her. Then breed. If you find out that your dog is what I think it is, pet quality, then do us all a favor and get her spayed. Huskies are extremely difficult to place when they end up in shelters. The last pair we had (pure-bred, gorgeous) took over a year to find good, qualified homes.

Ugly puppies perhaps, but mixed-breeds are wonderful as well !!
I agree with the FIRST respondent that it's time to pack her off to the vet for a test... GOOD luck with her pregnancy and the litter.
I know you asked us to refrain from A$$inine comments, but:
One sign is she becomes moody and craves Pistachio Ice Cream and Kosher Pickles ? Sorry...

I agree with Shanna....take her to the vet to find out if she is pregnant. If she is, you will need to take care of her and the puppies and find good homes for them. Many people like mixed breeds and the puppies may not be all that bad looking. Lots of people looking to adopt a puppy are looking for companionship.....if the dogs have good temperaments, you shouldn't have a problem finding homes for them.
I would recommend spaying her as it seems like you are not prepared in taking on the responsibility of becoming a responsible breeder.

Well, your choices are to either have the litter and deal with it, or spay her now and avoid the whole problem.
It's up to you. Get her to the vet so you can find out for sure and then make your decision. Personally, I would spay her.
