It could be a stye. Its an infection of some sort where your glands are clogged. So it forms a hard like, painful bump. Its not a serious thing but warm compresses like a really warm wash cloth can help rupture it (release the clog) and decrease the pain. If it keeps getting bigger and bigger see a doctor and a simple procedure can be done to un-clog the gland near your eye and you will feel a lot better.

Cysts are common in that area, especially if you've been prone to styes in the past. Try applying hot compresses a few times a day. It will usually shrink and disolve it in a week or so. If you get no results, consult a doctor.

It maybe a cyst or a stye. I would go see a doctor and make sure you keep your fingers off of it. Try to keep it clean and you may want to apply an ice pack.

i t could be a allergic reaction. I had a lump above my eye for a few months and it eventually went away. wash it alot and keep it away from any kind of chemical such as clorine, soap, etc. wash it iwth water and eventually it will go away.

It sounds like a cyst. You need to go get it checked out by your doctor.

Perhaps it's a chalazion cyst, but they usually occur on the eyelid.
