Only three are named in the Bible (Cain, Abel, & Seth) but Genesis 5:4 says "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Josephus, the Jewish historian, states that "The number of Adam's children, as says the old tradition, was thirty-three sons and twenty-three daughters."

jewish and ancient christian tradition maintains that there were 56 children in all. cain, abel, and seth are mentioned in genesis- the rest are not, or at least not by name. cain and abel's story is signifigant because of the message. seth's story is signifigant because he begins the noahide line, and it was prophesied that the Messiah would come from that line- and He did. the rest aren't mentioned because there is so much to cover. the bible covers a bare minimum of about 4600 years. i think the apocrypha mentions some of adam and eve's other children, but in all fairness, i've never read the complete set of apocryphal books, so i can't say for sure.

Jewish tradition, as explained in a footnote in Chapter 2, Section 3, Adam and Eve were blessed with thirty-three sons and twenty-three daughters! Let us focus our attention on the one son Seth, mentioned in Gen. 5:3-5:

A3. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: 4. And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: 5. And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

The horribly retarded ones might die out and not anybody born in incest are retards. The biblical tale of Adam and Eve isn't literal yet what do you incredibly think of occurred 60,000 years in the past? complete human communities in basic terms sprung up? Our ancestors did no longer initiate with huge numbers so there replaced into incest, with or devoid of Adam and Eve. edit: people did no longer without put off come from asexual creatures. people as all of us understand them to day began out in small numbers as hunter-gatherers, having slowly developed from yet another non-asexual mammal.

I think Adam lived to about 930. Considering that people were considered 'children' up to age 100, I would guess they had about 830 or so kids.
Just a guess.

A lot of them. Figure they were maybe 20 when they had the first ones, and twins at that. And they lived (Adam did for 900+years). If they had only one child a year for 700 years, then 700.

I am very sure they had many...considering Adam live to be around 900 years old.

God tells us that they had other sons and daughters but doesn't mention their names or exactly how many they had in their long life span on Earth. Their multiple children's bloodline's most likely carry on today.

I believe the bible mentions three. However, I think the more appropriate question would be "who did they marry and have children with".
