I have just been accepted into my first job (...yay!! :D) In Debenhams in the UK, does anybody know the pay for someone working on the shop floor, because the woman forgot to tell me, and the shop is now closed.

You will / should receive the Job Offer in the post.

This will detail your hours of work and rates of pay. It might also refer to a 'Company Manual' for things like Holiday Entitlement etc.

You will be expected to sign & return the 'acceptance' part.

When you start work you make sure you ask for a copy of the 'Company Manual' or whatever it's called (this details things like what to do if your are sick, how much Sick Pay you are entitled to, pay review procedure, disputes procedure etc).

i work for them and its min wage £5.35 but will be rising in october.
