I think it's horrible and would never do that to a child. I remember when my parents told me the truth after making me believe in Santa, never quite trusted them again!

It is nice to let your child use their imagination and once the notion of a fat man giving gifts is grown out of, then they can decide for themselves if they enjoy giving gifts once a year to show their love for someone else.

I think it's part of the harmless whimsy of being a kid. Having said that, I wish Christmas were more about family and less about consumerism.

What difference does it make? People of all relgions see Santa. It is a PAGAN ritual NOT a Christian one ( TOIDI).

Santa came to my house once! Jesus NEVER did!
