To question what has been taught to you and the continual search for knowledge outside of what you have been taught. The more strict sense of the word, would mean that you have completed college or graduate school.

generally they are speaking in regards to formal training style. However, knowledge and wisdom requires no formal training and often can moved education to the back row

It means that you know how to spell "does" correctly instead of spelling it "dose". "Dose" is how much medicine you are supposed to take.

to begin with knowing how to spell(or using the check spelling feature)(no offense but it's true)

but also to use your critical thinking skills before believing something and not just blindly accepting it at face value(you know what Im talking about).
