These people places and things are mentioned not only in the Christian and Hebrew Bibles ( The Hebrew Bible meaning the Torah) the Babylonians, Egyptians wrote about King Solomon and their trade agreements among other things. Because they believe it to be fact, as do most religious people. Why would worship God if you only considered him a theory? That sounds like a waste of time. That's like talking on the phone even though you have no idea if anyone picked up the other end.

Just because one cannot scientifically prove the existance of God does not mean that it is foolish to believe in him or that the only intelligent approach would be to doubt him.

Why do Atheists disobey God and deprive their children by not sharing the wonderful message of Jesus?

Ephesians 6:4 -- Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

See, it works both ways.

Probably for the same reason that people believe in evolution when all it ever was, was a theory. There is more proof of God than evolution, a few monkey skulls is not proof.

How a parent raises their children is NOT for YOU to decide! If a parent wants to raise their children at Catholics or Muslims that's their right not yours. If a parent wants to raise their children in the KKK that's still their right!
If you don't like it, have your own children, raise them the way you see fit and tell the rest of us to go to He!!

There are parts of it I do know for sure, so much of it yes. The parts that are testimony, I say "this is what it says," and say I believe it, because I believe the Bible is trustworthy.
