Those people that clean up animals after an oil spill...do they al volunteer, or is there a career in it? cuz id really like to do that, but I want to know if its strictly volunteer work.

Usually the oil companies hire outside companies that specialize in disaster control. You would need to work with them; however, I would find something else to do as well since oil spills are not happening every day or even every year.

The directors are usually people who work at zoos and are used to wild animals. They have college degrees. Most of the people are volunteers though.
