It depends on what kind of dream it was. Some dreams really don't mean anything, while others can point to a future event. But seeing a dream twice means it is confirmation that it will come to pass. If you see it three, four, or five more times and on and on, then it means something else.

I find this happens to me. I have a similar dream about returning to a place where I used to work loads of times. And in each dream I have, I am wondering what on Earth made me go back! I think sometimes we dream something a lot either because it is on our mind, even if we aren't aware of it or it may be our Brains way of trying to solve something that is happening in your life at the time.

That depends on the type of dream.
However it could be your ignoring something in everyday life that you need to give attention to. It is like your dream is saying you still havent delt with this, now come on, after all you wanted to know. Your the one working it out in your dream.

Recurring dreams are usually caused by something your conscience is trying to tell you. If something is bothering you or making you anxious while you're awake, then it might repeat itself in your sleep. Try to figure out what is making you feel this way.

some of my dreams i've been having for years. it's usually something unresolved, like a hurt or issue that i haven't finished dealing with properly, as i tend to suppress things and deal with them a lot later (unhealthy i know)

tDepends what your reoccurring dream is about. I have a reoccurring dream about tornadoes and ive to try and save everyone, i think its my subconscious worry about my family being hurt in someway and me trying to protect them. Maybe you have a fear of something too.
