I know it has done that for a lot of my friends. My problem is some family issues that have blocked sometimes my trust in our God. That is my problem though and not a disbelief I have in God!

Yes.
When Sept. 11 happened I had just started a course on Christianity. It served as the backdrop of a spiritual journey I undertook that year - trying to understand how suffering fit into the picture of a loving God, a mystery I was able, like Job, to learn to accept, if not quite understand.
I suppose I had my first glimpse of the transcendant truth of this mystery on the six month anniversary of Sept. 11.... we were driving through lower New York State, and I was fasting for Lent. And then the two pillars of light shot up into space from the site of the Twin Towers.
There was great beauty in the midst of suffering.
"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding!” (Job 38:4)

If they really believe that Jesus is God, why don't they obey his commandment to preach the literal Kingdom of God, door to door ? Matthew 24:14 - Acts 5:42. Are they afraid of people ? Yes. Don't they have the Holy Spirit ? I guess not.

Not really.. I've always believed and I don't really pay much attention to Islam..As Jesus said, "a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand..." Becoming a Christian though has been the most incredible thing in my life. It feels like the most beautiful part of myself has woken up...

No. The rise of Fallwell and the radical Christians pretty much ruined it for me.

I feel even more strongly against religion now than ever and believe that eradication of religion is the only way to save mankind.
