Only if you are too sick to attend/have an emergency that causes you to not attend religious services. Being too sick would mean: contagious/not able to sufficiently pay attention due to symptoms of illness
Emergency: friend/family death; cleaning apartment for inspection; outside temperature too hot/cold;pet very young/sick/won't come inside.
Often aged or disabled ones have one or more health problems that prohibit them from attending religious services.
Rather than watching sermons on Internet/TV, look for religious places in your area that have such things as a phone tie-in/ audio or video recordings of meetings. In this way, if you get spiritually sick, you will be able to call on someone from that religion to help you return to a healthy spiritual condition, which is hard to have from the Internet/TV.(James 5:14,15)

No. i would not pass to an Easter provider, and as one suggested right here we are commanded to observe the Christ's dying. right here is from the e book "Reasoning from the Scriptures" what's the muse of Easter and the customs linked with it? The Encyclopædia Britannica comments: “there is not any indication of the observance of the Easter competition in the hot testomony, or in the writings of the apostolic Fathers. The sanctity of particular cases grow to be an concept absent from the minds of the 1st Christians.”—(1910), Vol. VIII, p. 828. The Catholic Encyclopedia tells us: “a super many pagan customs, celebrating the return of spring, gravitated to Easter. The egg is the emblem of the germinating existence of early spring. . . . The rabbit is a pagan image and has constantly been an logo of fertility.”—(1913), Vol. V, p. 227. in the e book the two Babylons, by ability of Alexander Hislop, we examine: “What ability the term Easter itself? it particularly is not any longer a Christian call. It bears its Chaldean foundation on its very brow. Easter isn't the rest than Astarte, between the titles of Beltis, the queen of heaven, whose call, . . . as got here across by ability of Layard on the Assyrian monuments, is Ishtar. . . . Such is the historic past of Easter. the favored observances that still attend the era of its social gathering amply verify the testimony of historic past as to its Babylonian character. the warm pass buns of stable Friday, and the dyed eggs of Pasch or Easter Sunday, figured in the Chaldean rites purely as they do now.”—(long island, 1943), pp. 103, 107, 108; evaluate Jeremiah

You can have church anywhere any time. Open your bible and worship the Lord. The benefit of going to church is that you are surrounded by people who are on the same path you are. Some in different stages, so there are people there to gain knowledge from, or to pass yours onto. To share your stories and blessings and to come together with the common purpose of fellowship. But the Lord takes you where you are, whatever you are wearing, whatever shape, color, or level of belief. To say you have to be in a building to attend church is not true. However, you should find a way of paying your tithes and offerings. Whether its to the televised church you watch or the one you visit on Sundays. referring to the answer above, Jesus did not say if you pray in public you are hypocrites. He said quite the opposite: Matthew 6:5-6: "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men....when thou prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret...." This meant that you shouldnt pray only to be heard by the people around you so that you look like you are more of a Christian than everyone else. You should pray to be heard by GOD. So if to do this you have to pray in closet, then do it. God wants your full attention, not for you to be focused on others around you.

Yes. But you will miss the interaction with real live people by watching on TV. The world is constantly isolating people with the newest technologies. We should never use TV as a substitute for human fellowship unless you just can't do any better.

For some of us, it is a necessity. Health will not allow our attendance physically. Heb. 10:25 says to "not forsake the gathering of ourselves together." Meeting together is how we learn to speak "in agreement" (1Cor. 1:10) so "our love can abound...according to accurate knowledge and full discernment." Truly it is just as the Psalmist said, "Look how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in peace and unity."
Watching or hearing services is not the same as being there. For some of us, it is all we CAN do.

No. Church is about "community" and not just about "getting your time card stamped." Ask the TV to come visit you in the hospital or the Internet to really understand who you are.
