hmm...umm...ok, here goes. god doesn't cause bad stuff to happen, so satan must have broken your cup...
yes, that's it. satan broke your cup, because he wants you to be unhappy. god doesn't really do anything but watch, so he's kind of like those guys in the marvel universe the "watchers". have you heard of those guys?

Sh*t happens. This isn't a perfect world, in spite of there being a perfect, benevolent God. All indications point to the reality that God wants us to live and figure things out on our own. Also, could God be trying to teach you a lesson?
