When you file your taxes next year, you will have the opportunity to tell the IRS what address you are using. If the address on your W-2 is different it will not matter.

If you put your college mailing address on your tax return, you will receive your refund check at that address.

A real issue is making sure you get your W-2's from your employer. If you want the W-2's mailed to your college address be sure to notify your employers.

All the forms necessary for you are at irs.gov. Many post offices also have tax forms. Your school library may also have them. You will not receive a personal mailing of tax forms.

You will not receive a bill. You will not receive tax forms if you have never filed before. Go to the post office and pick up the forms and mail them in with your payment. All instructions are with the forms. Make sure your employer knows your new address so they can mail the w2 form which you must send in with the taxes.

You don't "receive" taxes. You should get a W-2 form in January 08 from your employer showing how much you made and how much was withheld from your paychecks. You'll use that info to fill out a form called a tax return, and will mail that to the IRS or transmit it to them online. When you fill out your form, there will be a calculation to tell you whether you owe anything, or whether you have a refund coming.

Your employer has to know where to send the W-2 in January, so if you didn't give them your new address, call them and let them know what it is - or even better, send it to them in writing.
