Before I buy a 1894 Nagant.. I would like to know if any one knows a web site or someone that still sells and has them in stock the .32ACP cylinder.
I have been to most of the usual sites to no avail and have run out of new ones.
I will not use .32 in the gun I can get original rounds but my local range will only let us shoot their ammo and they don't have 7.62x38r and will not stock it.
Best Wishes

Try Inter-Ordanance.
They imported a huge number of Nagants and Paramovs(Nagant target revolvers.), and had .32 cylinders last time I checked.
You might also try Century Arms.

For everyones information....generally .32 caliber weapons actually use a bullet diameter of .30 - .31 caliber. If it wasn't safe to use such conversions, they wouldn't be marketable due to liability concerns. Lawyers would never allow it. Being as they've been around for years if these devices weren't safe, I guarantee you'd have heard about it by now from the anti-gun media. This applies to these cylinders, as well as supplemental chamber devices.

Simply buy another gun. To buy the parts yourself is possible to do but the conversion would have to be done by a Gunsmith. The seller of such parts would not be able to be held liable for any misue, because in order to buy the parts in the first place, you sign a waiver, holding the seller/distributor not responsible, and you buy the parts at your own risk. That coupled with the expense of the actual labor to make the conversion makes it impractical to even attempt to do. As a Gunsmith, I would be legally liable for anything that occured as a result of completeing the conversion. I wouldn't even consider attempting it, and know of no other Gunsmiths that would.....Big mistake....Buy another more practical gun...

This conversion would be cost prohibitive, even if you find someone willing to do it for you. Unless you have a spl. attactchment for this gun, I would opt for some other gun. .32ACP is a rimless semi auto round, you would have peoblems extracting the rounds, and the extractor will just bypass the spent brass.

You might look at this link...

makarov.com often has Nagant items as well.

Wouldn't the barrel be too small? You would have to get it re-barreled, too. Since you would also be replacing the cylinder it would be cheaper to just buy another gun probably... not to mention there won't be as much hassle.
