i have this house in north carolina. my grandma lived in it then died in 2002 or 3. I love the area and the stuff i do there. train rides, shopping, snow, and a bunch of other stuff. i haven't been to the house in a while but i had a dream about it last night like it was calling me to go to it, and now i have a strong urge to go to it. any ideas of why i had it last night or what it means?

and that was the first half of the dream. there's a river very close to the house and my friends were there with me. (including the one that moved during the summer) we went swimming in the river then got sucked into a portal and ended up in the middle of the ocean with only flippers and a knife or pair of shears. the water was foggy and you feel and hear things swimming around. somehow we decided to go down and kill what ever was there. my best friend got wacked in her leg by a big sea creature. then we were faced with probably 15+ sea serpants. HUGE. ugly. killing. sea serpants. we killed them but not all of them and got sucked into another portal. we ended up in the chocolate factory in the town. and that is all i remember

Hmm..... The river in the back of your house represents water which satifies your thirst or provision for your life. However, you said your friends were swimming in the river and got sucked into a portal. So, there's something about this place of provision which will open a "change" which will suck you into something else. The ocean with the fog represents the world with all of it's trials, tribulations, stresses, worries, and fears and so on. The fog represents issues being clouded and not being able to see your through present circumstances. Sea serpents represents trials which you will have to face and fight through. The one friend with the wounded leg represents her walk in life being hindered and her being slowed down to accomplish her goal in life. Chocolate factory represents the reward which is on the other side of coming through this trial.

I think its just that you are so sad that your grandma died so you want to go back to where she lived. and about the swimming thing, its probably that you miss your friend that moved away so you want to see her too.....along with your grandma and the house that holds your memories together.
