Unless your going to live in ashop then you need to see it in a home enviroment with the lighting you would find in ahome, and not the flouresant and halogens they have in store.

All that electrical equipment in such a small space can cause a flicker and an instability to the picture, your not looking at it in a real world enviroment.

There is a problem with some people in that they struggle initially to adust to either a huge screen of the sharpness, my father-in-law was adamant it would cause him problems but has now adjusted to my set up and likes it.

Progress is progress and sooner or later there will be a move to all HD, just as the move now to all digital and the move to colour pictures all those years ago.
It's something that is here to stay althought there will be improvements over time.

I have a Sony X series tv and would recommend you to buy one over anything else because it is a genuine 1080p and 1080i picture, expect to pay well above your samsung tho', you get what you pay for.

If there was interference or misadjustment, the image may be vibrating slightly making it very hard to watch - like those images with all the added lines that are sometimes printed. I have had it happen with computer monitors, especially when there is rotating heavy motorized equipment near by.

Was the movie "Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow"? Something weird about the CG process in it made my eyes water when I saw it at the movies.
